Friday Fantastic Four

Ok - so given my brush with celebrity (albeit a bit umm older) this morning, today's Fantastic Four is simple:

What four celebrities have you met? If you haven't met four, list some you would like to meet!

1. President Jimmy Carter - my dad got me in the receiving line here in Philly the Sunday before the 1980, Carter was hoarse and tired, but very gracious.

2. Oprah - At Alisson's in 1995. Very odd. She ordered French Fries and just smelled them.

3. Patti LaBelle this morning - she was very nice and thanks me for saying hello to her.

4. Coach K - at the 1993 Final Four in New Orleans. What a classy guy!

You all have a great weekend!

1. I met George Hincapie once and emailed with him a few times after. One of my favorite athletes, and a great guy.
2. Mike Gordon of Phish. Had a beer with him right before he went up on stage as a guest at the Factory. Other musicians in similar settings: Isaac Brock (also at the Factory) and Les Claypool at the Blue Nile in New Orleans.
3. Mike Richards. http://www.the700level.com/2008/10/five-seconds-wi.html
4. To continue the theme, John Chaney.

In no particular order:
1. Donald Rumsfeld (while Secretary) - at The Crab Claw in St. Michaels, MD. As he was leaving, I said hello & he came over & spoke with the girls for a while. Very cordial.
2. Fingers Taylor (Harmonica God - Coral Reefer) I have hung out with him on a couple of occasions, he's sweet on my friend...1 degree of separation from Jimmy!
3. Cybill Shepard - Shared an elevator with her in NYC at a Broadway production, I told her that our youngest was named by our 2 oldest after her character on Moonlighting, Couldn't have been nicer. (also met Harry Connick Jr, & Meryl Streep that night)
4. Wes Hopkins - I had others to name (John McCain, Newt Gingrich...), but those who were there will never forget..."Wing, Wes?"...
